It was after a long night of Convene pulls that the Rover finally noticed the coral shop. Afterglow Coral sat in one tab, Oscillated Coral in another, and both looked tempting. Yet a smart player learns quickly: one of these currencies is precious, and the other is merely common.

Afterglow Coral: The Rare Currency

Afterglow Coral appears only when a player pulls a 4-star or 5-star Resonator or Weapon from any Convene banner. There is no daily mission for it. There is no free login reward. It comes from wishing, and wishing costs Astrite or Tides.

The income is small. For every 4-star pulled, a player gains 3 Afterglow Corals. For every 5-star pulled, a player gains 15 Afterglow Corals. A single 10-pull guarantees at least one 4-star item, but it can also hand over nothing but a 3-star collection. That reality makes Afterglow Coral extremely limited.

The best purchase in this tab is the Resonator Waveband. It unlocks the next Resonance Chain for a character the player already owns. This rule is strict. If a player does not own Yinlin, for example, her Waveband cannot be bought. If a player owns her, the Waveband becomes available only while her banner runs. After the banner ends, the item disappears. Featured 4-star Wavebands, like Yangyang or Baizhi, rotate when a new version begins.

Some players believe that buying Radiant, Forging, or Lustrous Tides with Afterglow Coral is wise. The math disagrees. Since every 10 pulls only guarantees a 4-star, exchanging rare coral for more Tides often feels like spending money just to see a 3-star item. Saving Afterglow Coral for a 5-star Resonator Waveband is stronger because it directly boosts a character's potential. There is one exception. If a player is very close to pity and has no Astrite left, spending some Afterglow Coral on Radiant Tide or Forging Tide is acceptable. Never spend it on Lustrous Tide. The standard banner is not worth valuable resources.

Oscillated Coral: The Everyday Currency

Oscillated Coral is the downgrade sibling. It comes from obtaining 3-star Weapons from any banner. Because 3-star items drop often, Oscillated Coral is much easier to collect.

For every 3-star pulled, a player gains 15 Oscillated Corals. The first items to buy from this shop are the three Tides: Radiant Tide, Forging Tide, and Lustrous Tide. In many version cycles, the shop offered up to 18 Tides for a total of 1,260 Oscillated Corals. That amount becomes reachable after roughly ten or eleven multi-pulls. The Tides and most other items in this shop refresh every version, so a patient player can save and spend without pressure.

Tidal Exchange: The Astrite Shop

The Tidal Exchange has only three items, and each costs 160 Astrite. The supply is unlimited. As long as a player has Astrite, the shop will sell more.

• 🌊 Lustrous Tide — used in the Standard Character and Weapon Convene

The safe advice is to spend Astrite only on Radiant Tide or Forging Tide. Lustrous Tide is not an option because standard banners are not worth precious Astrite. A limited character or weapon can change an account. A standard pull rarely does.

Smart Spending in 2026

The featured Resonators may change. The banners may shift from version to version. But in 2026, the same rule still holds: Afterglow Coral should buy permanent power through owned 5-star Wavebands, Oscillated Coral should fund the rotating Tides, and Astrite should chase limited banners only. A cautious Rover watches the timers. A wise Rover never wastes coral on a standard banner.
